LaMarche Funeral Home offers several types of funeral services.
The funeral helps us deal with the reality that a loved one has died. The funeral service provides a time to remember and talk about the life of a loved one, and is an appropriate time to say goodbye which is important in beginning the healing process.
The Traditional Funeral Service is when your loved one is present. Before the funeral, a visitation would occur at the funeral home, with or without the casket open. The funeral service can be held at the funeral home or in a location chosen by the family. A funeral service often consists of prayers, eulogy, sermon and music. After the funeral service there is a procession to the cemetery to have a committal service.
A Committal Service is a brief service at the gravesite prior to the burial. This is where family and friends say their final goodbyes. After the committal service, there is often a reception to follow which concludes the services.
We offer a wide variety of options that allow you to
tailor the service to meet your needs.
